Job Purpose

Fresh Local Provisions is dedicated to sourcing locally grown, owned and manufactured foods for the local market.

Our new store in Samford boasts a friendly atmosphere, distributing groceries ordered online to our customers throughout the area. Our Samford warehouse operates to fulfill our online orders and to supply our slow food cafe for our growing customer base to try our extensive range of products. To help us maintain our commitment to superior quality and service, we are seeking a well presented, highly motivated and passionate team member for our sales team.

As the online business development manager you will be accountable for the upkeep and maintenance of website, e-commerce, and database operations as well as newsletter communications, social media campaigns and promotion of events. Close communication with our shop and warehouse team will be essential to be successful in this role. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the achievement of Fresh Local's vision, safety and quality management plan

  • Not only meet but exceed online sales targets

  • Manage the eCommerce website and social media campaigns

  • Deliver a high quality online experience that exceeds our customer expectations

  • Exceptional customer service standards to establish & maintain relationships

  • Primary contact to increase the brand awareness and productivity

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Experience maintaining eCommerce websites

  • Experience managing social media campaigns

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Deep understanding of online business including relevant social media, analytics, industry trends and performance drivers

  • Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment

Position Details
