Our Grocery Club customers get excited about growing fruit and veg in their own gardens, buying seasonally what they can't grow, cooking from scratch, and preserving the household wisdom of prior generations. Our customers support local artisans and buy their amazing products in preference to imported or far-travelled equivalents.
When getting to the various Brisbane farmers market isn't possible, we can bring them to you. Got a specific product you want us to source? No problem, just ask!
What kind of shop is Fresh Local Provisions?

How does it work?
We stock an expanding range of local and organic products from assorted domestic and commercial growers, manufacturers and distributers.
Goods are packed for your convenience in earth-friendly paper and cloth, or cardboard. Select the time you want your order delivered and we'll have it ready and waiting at your door! There is a comments facility at Checkout where you can leave instructions, make specific requests or tell us you won't be home. We reuse styro packaging, cardboard and cloth as much as possible so please be prepared to protect it from damage and return next order.
How do I place an order?
Log in to create a customer profile. Build a wishlist, compare products, or place an order. Click through to Checkout to select your delivery day and time. Check out our Pricing Policy if you want to learn how to make the most of our services.
How do I pay online?
For your security, we do not store your credit card details and prefer our members to pay by PayPal, or Cash/Eftpos upon delivery. For approved shoppers we can accommodate Direct Transfer to our bank account. Standing periodic orders are best automated this way. Contact Us to personalise your shopping calendar.
Do you home deliver?
Yes, we do. See our Delivery Information page. If you're a passionate local, we'll make exceptions. Call Jodie to discuss your circumstances: 0409 165 000.
Will you buy my home grown glut?
Yes, but you must also be a buyer in our club and sign our Fresh Local Supplier Agreement. Please Contact Us approximately one week prior to harvest so we can plan our inventory around your produce and offer some harvest and storage advice. We reserve the right not to buy at times of over-supply.
The Samford community are prolific growers of all citrus, mulberries, custard apple, bunya nuts, jaboticaba, carambola, pineapple, choko, cucumber, leafy greens, zucchini & squash, pumpkins, pineapples and strawberries, among other things.
Can you source special products for me?
It would be our pleasure! Contact Us and tell us what you're looking for. Obviously we favour local and organic products but, if there is a market for your requested product, we will explore every opportunity.
Why is all your Grocery Club meat frozen?
We sell frozen meat online for safe food handling and waste minimisation. We do also co-ordinate co-ops and group buys for fresh farmed salmon, pastured chicken and organic beef, among other things. These are co-ordinated monthly, seasonally or according to the needs of the producer.
How many members do you have?
We have over 800 happy and healthy families subscribed to our service and growing every month! If you like and appreciate our service, please share our webpage with friends and neighbours. We love co-ops and will offer a generous 20% discount to bulk shoppers who self-organise.
